The University of Utah seeks a customer- and results-oriented individual to lead a team of highly skilled and talented work management professionals and maintain an enterprise Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system that meets customer needs. This individual will engage with team members and stakeholders as he/she guides theCMMSeffort and investment at the university. TheCMMSManager will also collaborate with various IT professionals in order to design, implement, and maintain enterpriseCMMSsystems and solutions. Currently, the University of Utah’s Facilities Management department utilizes AssetWorks’ AiMCMMSsoftware, and theCMMSManager is the key administrator for the AiM application.

•Oversee the AiMCMMSsystem:
oWork with internal staff, other departments, and external vendors to ensure theCMMScontinually meets the needs of the organization
oUtilize an in-depth knowledge of Facility Maintenance Management principles to optimize processes within the department to ensure that the University receives the maximum benefit from theCMMS
oEnsure that system updates, patches, etc. are performed in a timely manner to ensure system reliability
oContinually learn and implement best practices in higher education facilities with respect toCMMSutilization and implementation
•Provide leadership and management to key employees who work with facilities management data
•Develop and publish reports on key metrics using the data in theCMMSto drive overall organizational performance using database reporting tools:
•Provide support to the Facilities Management team to ensure that all functional groups are equipped with the knowledge/skills to be able to utilize theCMMSto drive performance in their areas.
Require a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
