Meeting / Event Information

The Utah Chapter meets once a month, usually during lunch time. Each meeting includes lunch, an educational presentation, and networking.  The meeting often includes a tour of a local facility. Meetings are intended to help professional members gain knowledge and networking contacts.  The following is a list of what to expect throughout the year:

Chad Lewis

Shortly after graduating from BYU in 1997 with a degree in communication studies, Lewis signed as a rookie free agent with the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles. The three-time Pro-Bowl selection led all NFL tight ends in 2000 with 69 catches, becoming the first Eagle to exceed the 50-catch plateau since 1989. In 2005, Lewis made an appearance with the Eagles in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.

For more than 25+ years, Kate has helped organizations create innovative workplaces and adopt new ways of working. Her global expertise includes workplace strategy and change management. She has authored two books and over forty case studies.  Kate enjoys sharing her insights with others and speaks at various Real Estate, Facilities, Human Resources conferences around the world.

Kate is passionate about leveraging the workplace as a “strategic asset” AND also in “building community”.  This unique combination has helped to create a vision of the “Workplace Evolutionaries” (WE), a vibrant community of practice she co-founded in 2012 within the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).  She continues to serve as the Global Chair as well as the IFMA Board of Directors.

In this highly interactive session, Kate will share the latest research and insights on the COVID-19 implications on the Workplace, including the recent IFMA Delphi Study.  This study engaged hundreds of global experts in FM, Workplace, Sustainability, Technology, Real Estate, Operations & Maintenance and Busines to vet out the Future Workplace Post-COVID-19.
